    2026 Weidemann Hoftrac 1390e

    Hoftrac 1390e - Think Electric
    The fully electric Hoftrac 1390e works on-site completely emission-free and with a clearly reduced level of noise. This protects the operator and the environment in equal measure. As a result, the loader is predestined for indoor use and in noise and emission sensitive areas. The optional comfort cabin in the 4-pillar design with a panoramic rear windshield provides an excellent provision of space and ensures the best all-round visibility. The matured heating design of the cabin enable all-year-round use of the machine. The installed 96 V lithium-ion battery is available in three different powers, so that running and charging times can be optimally coordinated with the respective operating requirements. Different charging cables and plugs enable easy and flexible charging of the machine.

    Powerful lithium-ion battery

    • The right battery size can always be selected depending on the application and purpose.
    • A total of three maintenance-free lithium-ion batteries are available: Standard is 14.1 kWh, optionally available are 18 kWh or 28 kWh.
    • A 3 kW onboard charger is installed as standard. Optionally, a second 3 kW onboard charger can be selected to increase the charging power up to a total of 6 kW, which is suitable for the medium and large battery to achieve a fast charging time.

    Easy charging options

    • The central charging hatch is easily accessible from the outside. The socket, activation switch and charge level indicator are located directly behind it.
    • The charging cable (type 2 plug on machine side, well-known in the automotive industry) including control box is available with a variety of different plugs: 230 V / 10 A Schuko, 230 V / 16 A CEE (blue, 3-pin), 400 V / 16 A CEE (red, three-phase, 5-pin) and 400 V / 16 A (type 2 plug Wallbox, IEC 62196) and other adapter plugs.
    • All in all, the new flexible charging system offers you an efficient and safe charging process.

    Powerful electric drive

    • The performance of the 1390e is the same as the diesel-powered variant, and the tipping load is even slightly higher. The e-drive therefore has no performance disadvantages compared to the conventional diesel drive.
    • An electrically-driven machine has an increased level of productivity when compared with a diesel-operated machine. Overall, the electric drive is more efficient and effective than the diesel drive and provides a more environmentally-friendly alternative.

    Easy-to-read digital display

    • The main functions always in sight: With the digital display, the operator always has everything in sight while working.
    • On the outside of the display are the standard indications, like the warning light for the parking brake or the control lights for the indicator or the full beam.
    • In the information area in the center of the display, there are three main views and a variety of useful information such as operating hours counter, state of charge of the drive battery, remaining running time / remaining charging time, speed display, average consumption, recuperation level, date, time or the temperature of various components

    Comfort cab

    • The comfort cab has been optimized to meet the needs of the operator and enables safe and fatigue-free work: 4-pillar design, deep-drawn windows and panoramic rear window for optimum all-round visibility. The heating with optimized air circulation ensures constantly pleasant temperatures. Ergonomically arranged controls, an appealing interior and reduced vibrations and noise in the passenger compartment enhance driver comfort.
    • The amount of space in the cab is trend-setting in the Hoftrac segment. There are two different joysticks to choose from, depending on the equipment and configuration.
    • The cab is also suitable for taller operators, which is not a common feature on very compact machines. The pleasant working environment reduces operator fatigue. The optimized entry with non-slip steps ensures that the operator can get in and out safely.

    Electric parking brake

    • The electric parking brake is automatically applied when the machine is stationary, the travel direction is set to neutral, or the operator leaves the seat. The parking brake is automatically released when the machine is restarted via the gas pedal. This provides maximum safety and comfort for the operator and their work environment. The machine can thus be operated very efficiently thanks to the electric parking brake.
    • The electric parking brake offers an auto-hold as well as a hill-hold function. This prevents the machine from rolling away unintentionally, thereby increasing safety when working.
    • The electric parking brake can also be activated or deactivated manually by pressing a switch. The operator is always in control and can work with the machine according to his own needs and preferences.

    High-quality powder coating

    • Compared to conventional wet painting, powder coating increases corrosion protection. It thus prolongs the value preservation of the machine to a great extent. In addition, the process is based on powder recovery. Therefore, it is particularly environmentally friendly.
    • The durable powder coating guarantees value retention and ensures an accordingly high resale value for the machine.

    Perfectly tuned kinematics

    • At Weidemann, the kinematics are adapted to the size of the machine, based on application. This ensures optimum power ratios and maximum productivity for every machine.

    Performance
    100 % connectible differential lock

    • Compared to a self-locking differential, the switchable 100 % differential lock provides maximum traction and thrust when needed. This increases the efficiency of the machine.
    • During normal traction drive, the differential lock is switched off. This provides safety and causes less tire wear, thus saving operating costs.

    Perfectly tuned P-kinematics

    • The P-kinematics are characterized by exact parallel guidance over the entire stroke range. Unintentional rolling out is not possible. This makes handling easy and safe for the operator.

    Perfectly tuned P-Z-kinematics

    • P-Z kinematics is a combination of P-kinematics and Z-kinematics. It allows considerable lifting and tearing forces and has a fine-tuned parallel guidance. It is suitable for many different applications, from pallet handling to material handling.

    Optimum tires

    • The right tires for a machine play an important role in practical application. If the tires are matched to the ground and the application, the operator can work optimally with the machine.
    • Selecting the right tires ensures maximum traction as well as minimum wear and a pleasant running smoothness of the machine. These aspects also increase the service life of the tires and at the same time increase economic efficiency.
    • Different profiles are available depending on the model so as to achieve optimum performance on every ground: EM profile, AS profile, SureTrax profile, RP profile, MPT profile, Multiuse profile and Bibload profile. This ensures maximum flexibility in machine configuration ex works.

    Maximum traction through articulated pendulum joint

    • The articulated pendulum joint enables all four wheels to maintain traction control even on uneven terrain. This increases the productivity of the machine and gives the operator optimum control. 
    • The optimal ratio of articulation and swing angle ensures high traction control. This makes it easy to maneuver the machine. Even in confined spaces, there is no collision between the front and rear sections of the machine.
    • The front and rear carriages can swing independently of each other. The operator can thus react sensitively to every bump. This increases comfort and creates a safe feeling while driving.

    20/25 km/h Travel speed

    • Optionally available is a speed increase to 20 km/h and/or 25 km/h.
    • 20 km/h Speed increase: Ideal compromise between battery running time and the fast movement during transportation.
    • 25 km/h Speed increase: Faster movement of the machine from A to B with corresponding time-saving.

    Always the Right Running Time

    • Depending on the battery size, a runtime of up to 5.3 h can be achieved in continuous operation. The running times of the battery depend on the respective operating conditions, the work task and the driving style. This can lead to a much longer runtime being achieved as well. In extreme cases, however, the specified runtimes can also be undercut.

    Demand-driven performance

    • Two separate electric motors are used in the machine: one for the traction drive and one for driving the working hydraulics. This minimizes energy consumption because power is only utilized when it is actually needed. 
    • The electric motor for the traction drive also enables the machine to start up dynamically and powerfully. This can be felt with every acceleration process.

    Safety

    Two powerful lifting cylinders

    • Two powerful lifting cylinders guarantee that the load distribution is always optimally transferred to the loading arm. The entire loading system also gains in stability. A plus in terms of safety for the operator.
    • The stable loading arm together with two lifting cylinders prevents damage to the loader unit through torsion in the best possible way. This reduces service costs and increases the value preservation of the machine.

    Safe overhead guard with restraint system

    • An overhead guard with restraint system is fitted as standard on the compact Weidemann Hoftracs. The overhead guard and the restraint system for the operator comply with the safety provisions of the current European Machinery Directive according for ROPS (Roll Over Protective Structure) and FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structure). The overhead guard thus fulfills all legal requirements and offers maximum safety.
    • The overhead guard ensures good all-round visibility: The operator always has the work area and the immediate environment of the machine in view. This increases safety when working with the machine.
    • Depending on the model, a front and rear window are available to better protect the operator from the effects of the weather.

    Illumination of the work area

    • The lighting can be adapted for different requirements: Halogen lighting, lighting according to StVZO, LED lighting and additional headlights on the driver's cab, the loader unit or the telescopic arm. This allows working with the machine adjusted to the individual, even in the dark.
    • A well-lit work area increases work safety and lets the operator work even longer with the machine, in a concentrated and safe manner.

    Easy entry and exit

    • In just a few steps, the operator can comfortably enter the cab or operator's platform of the machine. This is made possible by the large, non-slip steps and the easy-to-reach handholds. This increases operator safety when getting in and out of the machine.

    Battery-Management-System (BMS)

    • The lithium-ion battery is optimally monitored by the implemented electronics system.
    • The BMS also enables significantly increased charging currents, short-term provision of power peaks and permanent monitoring of the temperature. In addition, the battery is always preheated to the optimum operating temperature.
    • The BMS thus increases the efficiency and safety of the battery and eliminates deep discharge.

    Blue Safety Light

    • The Blue Safety Light is an optical reversing warning system. It is activated automatically when reverse gear is engaged and projects a blue light spot onto the ground at some distance.
    • People in the danger zone can perceive the machine despite the absence of engine noise and move away from the danger zone.
    • The Blue Safety Light thus significantly increases safety when reversing.

    Braking system: Multiple-disc brake

    • The multi-disc brake is virtually maintenance-free and experiences only minimal wear. Its closed design makes it resistant to contamination and aggressive substances. This ensures reliable and safe operation and increases the service life of the braking system.
    • The brake is always 100% applied when activated, whether automatically or manually. This increases work safety for the operator and protects the working environment.

    Color-coded operating concept

    • The sophisticated Weidemann operating philosophy and the color-oriented operating concept enable the operator to operate the machine intuitively. The quick orientation makes working with the machine easier for new or changing drivers. It also increases work safety at the same time.
    • All controls are within easy reach. The operator always has the most important machine information in view via the optimally positioned display.
    • The switches and controls are divided into different color groupings: Gray = Electrics, Red = Safety, Blue/Orange = Traction drive, Green = Hydraulics. This ensures quick understandability and orientation at all times.

    Variety

    Increased lifting height and reach with long loading arm

    • In addition to the standard loading arm, many Weidemann Hoftracs have one, or even several, longer loading arms as an option. The longer loading arm realizes an increased lifting height and reach. This means that there is no need to automatically switch to a larger machine. This makes compact machines even more efficient and flexible in application.
    • In addition to the increased lifting height, the reach of the machine is also increased. This allows, for example, loading and unloading of a trailer with pallet forks, even in the second row.

    A multi tool for many applications

    • The work tasks on a farm are varied, and so are the attachments from Weidemann. Every model becomes a multi-function control stalk machine with our comprehensive and well thought-out range of attachments.
    • The possible application of many different attachments increases the economic efficiency of a machine.

    Variety of equipment

    • Weidemann machines have extensive and high-quality standard equipment. Moreover, depending on the application and model, e.g. engine, drive, driver's cab or hydraulics can be individually configured. It is always ensured that the machine meets the individual requirements and preferences of the customer.

    Selectable operator's cab

    • We offer a suitable selection of different driver's cabs for different applications.
    • Different driver's cabs are available depending on the machine: Fixed overhead guard, folding overhead guard eps (Easy Protection System) and various cab versions. 

    Folding overhead guard eps (Easy Protection System)

    • Optionally, the Weidemann Hoftracs can also be equipped with the folding overhead guard eps (Easy Protection System). The eps can be folded down manually for a low clearance height in just a few steps. The eps complies with the safety requirements of the current European Machinery Directive for ROPS (Roll Over Protective Structure) and FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structure).
    • The eps increases the flexibility of the machine, as low passages can also be passed. This allows the machine to adapt to the spatial conditions accordingly.

    Flexible trailer operation

    • The machine can tow a trailer using the optional trailer hitch. Different systems are available depending on the machine. The maximum possible weight of the trailer depends on the model and equipment.
    • For operation on public roads, the machine must be registered in Germany as a self-propelled working machine and may also only be used within specified limits. Other regulations may apply internationally; the local sales partner will provide information on this.
    • The option of pulling a trailer expands the machine’s range of applications and offers more flexibility in application, as no additional towing vehicle is required.

    Rear hydraulic connections

    • The loader can be equipped at the back with hydro connections (single or double acting). This expands the range of applications of the machine, as rear hydraulic attachments or tipper trailers can be operated.
    • The machine can be used multi-functionally for different activities. No additional vehicles or machines are required.

    Front and/or rear electrical connections

    • The machine can be equipped with front and/or rear electrical connections. This allows electrically operated additional functions of attachments, such as a sweeping machine with water spraying mechanism, to be operated. It is also possible to switch additional functions of hydraulic attachments. The operation is comfortable via the joystick.
    • The electric functions (push/lock) can be individually assigned to the joystick controls if desired.
    • Electrical connections at the front and/or rear ensure that a wide range of attachments can be operated with the machine. This in turn increases the range of applications of the machine.

    Pressureless return including leakage oil line

    • Certain attachments with their own hydraulic motor require an unpressurized return line. The hydraulic oil flows back into the hydraulic oil tank via the oil cooler and the oil filter in a large dimensioned separate line. The advantage here is that the attachment can feed the return oil cooled and without increased stagnation pressure back into the hydraulic oil tank. This protects components of the machine and the attachment.
    • The leakage oil line returns the leakage oil of the oil motor to the tank with max. 2 bar if required. This minimizes the casing pressure in the hydraulic motor of the attachment.

    Efficiency

    Efficient change of attachments

    • The hydraulic rapid-change system allows attachments to be exchanged conveniently and quickly. The good view of the rapid-change plate makes changing attachments particularly easy. 
    • Changing the attachments is extremely safe thanks to the 2-hand operation when de-coupling.
    • The machine is immediately ready for use again after changing the attachment. This increases productivity and improves economic efficiency.

    Consistent operating philosophy

    • All Weidemann machines have a consistent operating concept with clearly structured and ergonomically arranged switches and keypads. All machines can be operated in a very similar way or in almost the same way. The advantage here is that an operator can quickly find his way around different Weidemann machines and work productively.
    • The Weidemann operating philosophy allows the operator to easily understand the machine. This enables him to orientate himself well and work safely. This can be seen, for example, in recurring elements such as the Jog-Dial, joystick, display, general switch assignments, etc.

    Ballast weight

    • The machine can be equipped with a ballast weight (floor plate on the rear carriage) and/or cast iron rear weight. This means that heavier loads can be transported thanks to the higher tipping load.
    • The increased tipping load expands the range of applications, as larger attachments can be operated and heavier loads can be moved with the same machine.

    Low operating costs

    • The running energy costs are significantly higher for a diesel-driven machine than for an electrically driven machine. The higher purchase costs of the e-machine are amortized after some time and thus represent the more economical investment over the entire period of use.

    Efficient attachment use

    • The infinitely variable adjustment of the oil quantity of the 3rd control circuit enables the use of attachments operated with continuous hydraulic function. This allows the oil quantity to be individually adjusted to the respective attachment. This enables the operator to work comfortably and efficiently with the machine and the attachment.
    • In addition, the machine can be used in stationary operation. Here, the working hydraulics of the 3rd control circuit are used to drive an attachment such as a log splitter.

    Pressure relief on the loading system

    • The button for pressure relief is easily accessible on the outside of the loading unit. This allows different hydraulically operated attachments to be changed even faster and more efficiently. This also works when the machine is switched on.
    • When the pressure relief is activated, the active hydraulic control circuit is depressurized and hydraulically operated attachments can be changed effortlessly and safely.

    Maintenance

    Fully automatic central lubrication unit

    • The duration of the lubrication process and the intervals can be set on the fully automatic central lubrication system. Regular re-lubrication of all lubrication points increases the operational safety of the machine. 
    • With the fully automatic central lubrication system, the lubrication of the machine is done automatically and thus very conveniently. This means significant saving of time and increase in the longevity of the machine, thus increasing its value preservation.

    Maintenance-friendly hydraulic hosing

    • Short hydro connections are generally installed on Weidemann machines. This means that the hoses are split at several places. If a hydro connection needs to be replaced; only the affected part is replaced. This means that there is no need to replace the entire hose connection in the hydraulic circuit. This speeds up repair times enormously and is also cost-efficient.

    Easy maintenance

    • A major advantage of the electrically powered machine is that it requires significantly less maintenance overall than a machine with a diesel engine.
    • The engine hood can be opened upward, and the operator's seat and various access panels can be removed in just a few steps. This allows uncomplicated access to the hydraulic control block, pumps, battery and electric motors. This ensures easy and timesaving maintenance of the machine.

    Comfort

    Adjustable steering wheel and steering column

    • The height and tilt of the steering wheel and steering column can be adjusted individually over a wide range. This allows operators to work in a very ergonomic and concentrated manner, with the settings that suit them best.

    Ergonomic Joystick

    • The joystick can be held securely and comfortably. The control is, both, direct and sensitive. Thus the operator always has the machine and the most important functions under control.
    • In addition to standard functions such as direction selection and speed level, depending on the model, many other functions such as the differential lock, the 3rd gear and the speed level can also be selected. Control circuit and operate all electrical functions via the joystick. This results in convenient one-handed operation of attachments.
    • Concentrating the most important function on the joystick ensures comfortable working even over longer periods of time. This also increases overall efficiency when working with the machine.

    Ergonomic cockpit

    • Plenty of legroom, clearly arranged controls, comfortable operator’s seat, and optimal view of the attachment. A work area that motivates the operator and fully supports them.
    • Well-tuned equipment increases the comfort for the operator. He can also work optimally with the machine for longer periods of time.

    Comfortable working environment

    • The efficiently designed heating and ventilation system with fan, fresh air filter and well-placed air nozzles keeps the cab in a comfortable working climate.
    • The various Weidemann cab versions always have sufficient air nozzles installed. This enables good air circulation and makes the working climate pleasant for the operator.

    Ventilation as required

    • Depending on the version, the cab has large, wide-opening doors or windows on both sides that can be opened erect. With the divided door, the upper window pane can be opened and locked in place. Gap ventilation is also possible. This ensures fresh air in the cab, even without air conditioning, and increases comfort for the operator in warm outside temperatures.

    Comfortable and ergonomic operator's seat

    • The driver's seat is ergonomically shaped, well sprung and adjustable. The optional air sprung comfort seat offers even more pleasant conditions. Seat heating is available for cold temperatures. This increases the comfort for the operator. He can thus concentrate on working with the machine for longer periods.
    • Depending on the model, different seats are available to match the size of the machine. The various seat adjustment options allow individual settings for the operator, providing optimum comfort.

    Comfortable loading arm damping

    • The loading arm shock absorber can be activated electrically and enables optimum handling of the machine in rough terrain and on the road. It is particularly recommended when the machine transports heavy loads in the bucket or on the pallet fork, or moves a heavy attachment over a long distance at high speed. The loading arm shock absorber provides a significant plus in comfort for the operator.
    • Lifting arm damping prevents the machine from rocking at high travel speeds. This increases safety for the operator and protects the vehicle components by absorbing shocks.

    Manual throttle

    • The hand throttle enables the manual setting of a constant travel speed. In doing so, the foot pedal need not be operated. The variable setting is both comfortable ad precise via a corresponding potentiometer.
    • The set travel speed can be overridden with the foot pedal. If the pedal is then released, the machine will return to the set speed.
    • The hand throttle ensures comfortable and concentrated work with attachments such as a sweeper, hedge trimmer or mulcher, even over longer periods of time.

    Flat-Face Hydraulic Couplings

    • Easy change of attachments: The flat-face hydraulic couplings can be cleaned easily, ensuring less soiling in the entire hydraulic system. When the hydro connections are coupled, hardly any leaking occurs, keeping hands, the machine, the attachment and the ground clean.
    • With the flat-face hydraulic couplings, hydraulically operated attachments can be coupled even under pressure, which saves time. All coupling types are mounted on the same bulkhead and are thus easily accessible.

    Vibration-damped workstation

    • The machine through hydro bearings absorbs oscillations, vibrations and shocks. Thus, the operator can work relaxed and concentrated for longer periods of time.

    ecs (Easy Coupler System)

    • Thanks to the Weidemann ecs (Easy Coupler System), hydraulically driven attachments can be changed completely from the driver's seat, in an easy and safe manner. The operator does not have to get off the machine to manually connect the hydraulic couplings.
    • This increases safety for the operator, protects the environment and also saves a considerable amount of time.
